OBAKE
OBAKEは、LiDARセンサーを使った実験的なARエフェクトアプリです。いないはずのものが、目をそらせない距離に、確かな大きさをもって立っている。そんな光景を実際に撮ることができます。
カメラを向けた現実の空間におばけを呼び出し、そのまま写真と動画で記録します。人のいない駅のホームでも、夜の路地でも。見慣れた場所であるほど、そこにいないはずのものが写り込んだときの不自然さは際立ちます。
LiDARセンサー搭載モデルでは、おばけが柱や壁の裏へ回り込みます。奥行きを正しく認識しているため、画面に重ねただけの合成ではなく、その場に居合わせたような一枚になります。
OBAKE is an experimental AR effects app powered by the LiDAR sensor. Something that shouldn't be there stands close enough that you can't look away, and it is real enough to have size and presence. Now you can capture that moment.
Point your camera at the world around you, summon a ghost into the scene, and record it as a photo or video. Try an empty train platform or a back alley at night. The more familiar the place, the more unsettling it feels when something that shouldn't be there shows up in the frame.
On devices with a LiDAR sensor, ghosts can move behind pillars and walls. OBAKE understands depth, so the ghost doesn't look like it was pasted on top of the screen. The shot looks like it was really standing there with you.
